THE ROYAL in Cancun to Host Mexicos First Ever World Heavyweight Championship

CANCUN, Mexico, March 5 // -- THE ROYAL in Cancun announced the schedule of events for History In Cancun, which will culminate Saturday night, March 8th, with the 12-round, heavyweight championship bout between heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev and interim heavyweight champion Sam "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter to determine the sole WBC heavyweight champion. Promoted by Don King Productions in association with Duva Boxing and Pepe Gomez Promotions, History in Cancun is being hosted at THE ROYAL in Cancun and will take place in Cancun's Plaza de Torros (Bull Ring) and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT.
